Hanging pendant lights without electricity just got a whole lot easier, thanks to these chargeable bulbs from Amazon. Before this purchase, my Ikea hack light was going through batteries like nobody’s business. I had so many questions about chargeable batteries from this sconce post and thought I’d better investigate. It turns out they exist! Who knew?
I have to be honest; that wasn’t the only reason I jumped for joy when I found the chargeable bulbs on Amazon. They also have three warm light settings. My last bulb had one, and it was very bright and cool, as in hospital lighting. You can see the cool light below.
Remember this post? This is the original DIY Rattan Pendant. I have to say I kind of miss that wall and mantle. I digress. Okay, back to the bulbs from Amazon.
The bulb is called the Magic bulb. they run about $15 apiece. but are sold in a two-pack. They come with a remote, the arrows control the light settings. The only negative is no timer. Check out the difference between the cool bulb from before and the new warm bulb, the rechargeable. Pretty amazing, right?
To charge, you simply screw it into a working lamp and turn it on. When it’s charged it will show a green light.
You can see how soft the new light is. At night it feels so cozy.

In case you’re wondering about my Brynn Swivel chairs, they are amazing. I would highly recommend these again. For the price, you can’t beat them. The only drawback is it’s a faux slipcover. You can wash the cushions but not the base. But, the fabric is kid and family-proof; so far, even the toughest stains come out. And I mean chocolate and red wine. Have a happy day, friends!
