Best Solar Patio Lamps + Snippets of Summer
Ahhh…. summer. What could be better? Absolutely nothing! The scents, the soothing cadence, the cool night air, days in the sun, and time on my porch. I finally finished my outdoor spaces, and now it’s time to enjoy them. I still have a few things to do, but I won’t stress that they aren’t perfect.
Circling back to time spent outside, I’m always looking for ways to ease the transition from inside to outside. Nothing is worse than wanting to catch the sunset or a few minutes post-sunset to find that your lanterns have run out of batteries. The black solar lanterns below were the BEST INVESTMENT last year. They charge all day in the sun and switch on at night with a switch. So, heading into this summer, I wanted more easy outdoor living. I spotted these solar lamps and knew they would be perfect.
They make the space feel like another room. They are also very easy to use and charge. The larger lamp even comes with a remote, which, thankfully, I haven’t lost. Oh, and they both have warm lights and dimmers.
You can find the small solar lamp HERE and the larger solar lamp HERE. For more budget-friendly patio and porch decor, shop my AMAZON OUTDOOR FAVORITES.
Below is a before and after. That is the brightest light, and it dims from there.
As I mentioned, I’m getting there with my outdoor spaces. The backyard was HORRENDOUS! So this is a significant improvement. You can learn more about my INFLATABLE HOT TUB and the pros and cons of owning one. You can also find the PEA GRAVEL TUTORIAL and DIY PRIVACY SCREENS.

These striped loungers below are a new addition, and I couldn’t be happier with them.
On my list of things to do this spring was to paint my front and side porches. I am so happy it’s done, even though it was a lot of work.
The house below is one of my favorite old houses that got a facelift. As a bonus, it’s actually for sale. You can find the listing HERE.

Have a happy day, friend!
Hi! Thank you so much for all the great recommendations! Can you clarify please – you linked a small and large solar lamp but can you confirm they are actually solar powered? They seem to need to be charged with a cord to work from the Amazon description. Not powered by the sun.
