Phew….so today I thought I would share 10 Fun & Meaningful Holiday Wrapping Ideas to get you ready for the holidays.
I am a paper & pattern fanatic, so my eyes are always peeled:).
1. Look for prints & solids that are in the color scheme you love with varied designs, shapes & sizes.
Think outside the box, it doesn’t have to be “holiday” paper.
I love neutrals, grays, tans, creams, silver, etc…
&
found these {above} in Home Goods.
2. Use different textures for “ribbon.”
Again, I like neutrals so I stuck with twine, jute & yarn
{hope that doesn’t make me boring, lol}
Be creative, sometimes it is fun to overlap and wrap it around for a layered look.
3. Use something different for tags, like these flash cards from THIS amazing shop.
4. Hang small ornaments for a fun touch.
And here if my FAVORITE idea…
5. Use photos for gifts tags. I made THESE Winter Polaroid’s HERE & printed on thick cardstock.
This is so fun & a great conversation piece.
The best part, you can use them as ornaments when your done.
6. Pom-Poms! Here is an easy tutorial, you can even involve your kids or grandchildren:).
7. Add Silhouettes, they add such a sweet touch.
I made these a while a while ago from THIS tutorial and updated them at HERE.
These can also become ornaments.
8. Bells are also a really fun element to add, especially for the little ones
{just be careful if there are any babies around, they are small}.
9. Fresh greenery, I love to add boxwood, cypress, pine and even rosemary.
10. These days you can find birch disks anywhere.
I used my wood burning pen to create a monogram tag.
The last thing, have FUN!
It doesn’t have to be perfect to be loved & appreciated:).
