25 Days of Christmas-Winter Polaroids {1 Project=3 Meaningful Uses}
Happy Friday & welcome to
25 Days of Christmas hosted by the sweet and incredibly talented
Today will be my last creative post of the year,
so I wanted to share with you a project that was fun but also meaningful.
I can still remember vividly my Shane’s first Christmas, he wore a Santa hat & PJ’s from my sister Jackie,
I can remember the image of John holding Shane while he touched snow for the first time off our back porch of our 1st home in Colorado.
I can still see Jack walking through the snow for the first time with his big brother not quite sure whether to be scared or excited
&
I can see {& hear} Jack when he built his first snowman & cried so hard his tears froze because he wanted to eat Frosty’s Oreo eyes:).
These are the moments we remember & hold onto for a lifetime.
I love being able to display these beautiful memories, especially at the holidays:).
So I went through all of my old winter photos.
I took a handful that I loved & uploaded them to Pic Monkey.
I went to frames & clicked Polaroid.
I then clicked text and added in names & year.
I saved to my computer & printed
I printed on thick cardstock,
tip- if you want them thicker, spray the back of each image with Tacky Spray
& adhere to watercolor paper{ it won’t go through your printer}, then cut around frame.
It is that easy:).
Here are 3 meaningful uses for this fun project……
1. Gift tags{which will then become ornaments}
In a day in age where everyone’s images are stuck on their phones or computers
it is a nice way to bring these memories to life once again:).
2. Place setting tag.
How fun is this to do a picture for each of your guests,
they will love this & they will be able to take it home & place it on their tree
to treasure for years to come.
3. Ornaments!
I used a winter theme but you can use any photos, I may do my Instagram photos next year:).
How cool is that to have a years worth of memories on your tree!
Your guests will love this too!
