A Farmhouse Christmas Tour {Part 2}

 Hi Friends:).

Thank you for all of your warm & kind comments you shared after touring my

Holiday House!

There were so many questions about the tour, so hopefully I have answered them in this tour.

When I began planning for the holidays I knew I wanted it to reflect the people & simple things

I love most in this world- my family, our home, our memories and traditions.

 My  family is a quiet reminder of what really matters,

especially at the holidays

& that is why it is my favorite time of year to create.

My hope is that someday these things will be passed on

& maybe just maybe, my boys will have some of these decorations in their own homes.

{My brother still has a huge pinecone wreath my mother made many years ago}

And I did splurge and buy some things this year but of course my thrifty, savvy self scored many, many amazing deals:).

  16. Congratulations on such a wonderful honor. How exciting for you and your family. I love that magazine. Noticed at least 2 or 3 bloggers I subscribe to were featured in this years edition. Love to see that, you gals work so hard.
    Gee whiz, talk about lots of comments, this post got them all. That’s cause you have such a wonderful home and style. Love how you have comfy things around but never looks cluttered.
    I’ve done a few things from what I had in house, haven’t gotten holiday deco boxes out yet. I’m enjoying looking around at some homey holiday things but not clutter and think I’d like it to stay that way this year. Just not up to the clamor and fervor of too much stuff. Gotten so thinking about having too much out is making me not want much at all. Hope I can stick to it.
    You in your simple but lovely home have truly inspired me Jen. I’ll shop my house some more. As I’m going thru posts I’m remembering things I have in house, go to get them and put them out. Think a lot of older holiday decos out in boxes are going to the thrift store. Did that two years ago, boy the stuff we got rid of, haven’t missed one bit of it. Guess maybe getting older is doing that for me.
    I truly hope your holiday season is the very best and your family enjoys abundant health.
