A Farmhouse Christmas Tour {Part 2}
Hi Friends:).
Thank you for all of your warm & kind comments you shared after touring my
Holiday House!
There were so many questions about the tour, so hopefully I have answered them in this tour.
When I began planning for the holidays I knew I wanted it to reflect the people & simple things
I love most in this world- my family, our home, our memories and traditions.
My family is a quiet reminder of what really matters,
especially at the holidays
& that is why it is my favorite time of year to create.
My hope is that someday these things will be passed on
& maybe just maybe, my boys will have some of these decorations in their own homes.
{My brother still has a huge pinecone wreath my mother made many years ago}
And I did splurge and buy some things this year but of course my thrifty, savvy self scored many, many amazing deals:).
Today I am sharing this amazing Farmhouse Christmas Tour with 8 other creative and spectacular bloggers,
yay, fun!
Welcome to our home…..
{Plaid Pillows From Throw , Canvas Art-Lindsay Letters, Stag Pillow}
This is a favorite place for us, our family room,
where we sit by the fire in the winter and have our indoor picnics.
{Bay Wreath, Knit Stockings, Flash Cards}
Oh how I LOVE our tree this year!
My cozy little nook.
Birch Log & Burlap Basket-Home Goods
I uploaded all of our past winter photos and made them into polaroid’s at Pic Monkey.
They also double as tree ornaments.
Our upstairs hallway….
{you can see more HERE}
Our kitchen & dining room…
I also like to buy handmade whenever possible & support my creative friends in the community.
My beautiful & talented blogging friend made this Watercolor Deer Pillow,
& works really well with this Plaid Throw,
don’t ya think?
This is our porch, which has beautiful views of the Great South Bay & Dune Rd.
I feel incredibly blessed we found this home:).
Here is where I bought these cute mugs, tray & pillow:).
On to the playroom & the boys bath, which I try to keep fun & colorful….
NOEL Sign-which I bought at the PB Outlet for $29.99 from $149.00,
awesome right?
Oh man, I love that place:).
I fancy this room!
I love that anything goes in here & that it is playful:).
You can see all of my boys art work to the left which is hung simply by jute & eye hooks.
The Twig Deer Head{another steal-$14.99}, pillows & banner bring it all together.
And there is no HOME without these guys:).

Loving the blanket-like plaid pillows in your living room (next to the sweater pillow). It looks similar to the throw from Ikea – did you make the pillows out of a throw? So cute! Popping by from the Nester’s link up. Merry Christmas!
HI Carrie, yes plaid throw & tan throw are both from my beloved IKEA:). I made the pillows from the throw, which I will share on blog this weekend. Thank you so much for visiting & leaving such a nice comment! Jen
Your house is Ah-Maze-ING! I’m in love with it all and trying to not be too super jealous! 🙂 Merry Christmas!
You are so talented all the spaces flow so well and I love the white, cream, gray, plaid and deer theme.
Do you know the name of the paint color used on the front door?
upper cute! Do you know the color of your door outside??
Thank you Sara, it is CHarlotte Slate-BM:). Good Luck, Jen
Can you please tell me what paint colors you used for the exterior of your home and front door color? Also for the light neutral color that is in your main room and around stairs?
Jen, I love your house! I saw you used Charlotte Slate on your exterior door but what color for the exterior? Thanks in advance!
Hi Julie, believe it or not its vinyl siding:). We live so close to the water that low maintenance was key. we love it!
Just seeing your post today, it is very beautiful!!! I love the hand painted deer pillow!!! Does your friend sell them? I have a friend who would like one too. Please let me know . Thanks !!!
How did you get the larger Fa la la, printed? Did you have someone do it for you?
A year late, but totally inspired to DIY my home like yours this Christmas. Do you have any extra time???
Congratulations on such a wonderful honor. How exciting for you and your family. I love that magazine. Noticed at least 2 or 3 bloggers I subscribe to were featured in this years edition. Love to see that, you gals work so hard.
Gee whiz, talk about lots of comments, this post got them all. That’s cause you have such a wonderful home and style. Love how you have comfy things around but never looks cluttered.
I’ve done a few things from what I had in house, haven’t gotten holiday deco boxes out yet. I’m enjoying looking around at some homey holiday things but not clutter and think I’d like it to stay that way this year. Just not up to the clamor and fervor of too much stuff. Gotten so thinking about having too much out is making me not want much at all. Hope I can stick to it.
You in your simple but lovely home have truly inspired me Jen. I’ll shop my house some more. As I’m going thru posts I’m remembering things I have in house, go to get them and put them out. Think a lot of older holiday decos out in boxes are going to the thrift store. Did that two years ago, boy the stuff we got rid of, haven’t missed one bit of it. Guess maybe getting older is doing that for me.
I truly hope your holiday season is the very best and your family enjoys abundant health.
If you should decide to reply please do so to my email address
Thank you so much Jane Ellen! I love reading your comments, thank you for taking the time to do so. Happy Holidays to you!!! Jen
