I have a fantastic, fun & super easy art project for you.

 

Living coastally I would say influences how I decorate,

 I try to mix in coastal details here and there so that each item stands out.

Unless it is the bathrooms….

 I always find the need to make them feel entirely beachy.

Being at the beach for us is one of those few times

we all get to really relax, take a breath and just enjoy each other.

 

I decided to take a break from working on my

FRONT PORCH

&

refocus back on my boys bathroom.

In trying to achieve a fun wall I created some fun & easy art to start.

Stay tuned next week for the wall reveal:)! 

 1. Buy a large canvas.

2. Roll on light layer of cream paint.

3.Take a thin cloth and wipe off excess to give the background more texture.

4. Make a 8 x 8 plus sign out of cardstock. The interior is 2″ wide at every extension.

Find your middle & trace.

5. Give the base color time to dry, then using

Frog Tape

tape off the outer edges.

Be sure to press firmly to seal the edges.

6. Paint the inside any color you want.

Voila!

Total cost with coupon for canvas- $12.

Tip-use house paint colors you already have to keep cost down.
