Preppy Coastal Bathroom Reveal
Happy day friends!
As you all may know by now I really do take it one project at a time around here:).
My boys bathroom has been almost finished for about a year,
I take my time with decorating so I can find & create those little details that make it feel….
like home, our home.
Today I am joining 8 of my fabulous blogging friends to share with you
Seasons of Home-Summer Edition.
We are all sharing different inspiring summer projects & recipes so be sure to follow all of their links
at the bottom of the post.
Without further ado I give you my boys Preppy Coastal Bathroom Reveal…
I have to quickly apologize for the lighting,
my boys bath usually gets a little bit of natural light towards the end of the day but
of course it was raining {boo hoo} so I had to just go with it.
This is the before….
I am a paint girl so I picked the wall color before we even moved in & I LOVE it!
It is Valspar-Rope from Lowe’s.
It is by far my favorite color in my home, I never tire of it.
I wanted this to be a fun space with pops of color.
Still keeping with the neutral palette I love so much but to change it up a little.
In cased you haven’t noticed I have a big crush on coral these days.
Being completely out numbered by boys {even the dog} I thought I was only fair to add a little.
And guess what they love it.
Yup, my boys like any shade of pink, which is good for me:).
Towels are from Target {love}, the mirror is vintage & the canvas sign is a DIY.
Ikat Navy Rug-Home Goods, that was a happy dance, just 12.99!!!
The Barnwood Towel Rack cost me just $1.00,
I up cycled hardware from an old rack & found this beautiful piece of rustic wood at a yard sale for just a buck,
another happy dance!
Bench/stool- Sherwin Williams Ardent Coral
Lots of DIY art- SWIM Sign & Lifeguard Canvas with some vintage oars.
I fancy the coral & navy together, to me is makes this whole Preppy Coastal look work.
This fun fish art was carved out of reclaimed wood.
Thank you for taking my boys bathroom tour!
I hope you will hop on over & check out my talented girls’ posts today,
it will be just the inspiration you are needing today…..
Have a beautiful week sweet friends,
Way cool, Jen. I love coral with navy, and the rope color. Vintage oars and your DIY wall art make it!
It’s very pretty and what a fun color palette! I have a bathroom that needs a little redo and you are inspiring me.
Awesome coastal bathroom. I’m working on my kids bathroom as well. Where did you find the oars?
Very cute, Jen! I love the Soapine sign!
Jen! I’m in love!!! I love navy and coral. I love the preppy-ness! I love the DIY art! Pretty much all of it! I have three little boys, and this bathroom would be just perfect! Great inspiration! Thanks for sharing!
What a great bathroom for boys. Like you I am outnumbered with men in the house(even the
cat and the frog are boys). It is nice to honor the men in the house without losing a little
bit of feminity. As always your projects reflect a lot of thought, love and attention to detail.
Thank you for inspiring the rest of us. 🙂
Love your bathroom! The whale art is darling and the coral truly is perfect. I have a similar oar that belonged to my father’s small fishing boat. I’ve had a dilemma on how to hang it without damaging it. Did you just screw yours into the wall?
Love the coral and navy and the cute signs you made. Great find on those towels too. The bathroom looks fabulous.
Love it! Everything is so perfect Jennifer!
What a great bathroom for your boys. I’m loving all of the small touches you added to the room.
Very Pretty Jen! I love the little bits of coral that really brighten it up!
Great job! Love it!
it looks amazing…but what else is new? you are so talented.
Love the coastal look of your bathroom. Could you share were you found the soapine whale sign? thanks
I MUST copy! Love it all for my Coastal bathroom as well! I can never be as creative so I have to copy others’ ideas. Thanks for sharing. I am a new follower 🙂
