Amazon Classic Nantucket Outdoor Summer Must-Haves
This time of year can be so overwhelming! There are so many things to do outside and only so much of you to go around. Plus, all the things you see online or on social media that beg you to buy them just take up space in your brain. I am currently painting my porch and trying to get my patio out of a state of neglect. It’s bad. And I’m not making excuses, but we did have like eight rainy and cold weekends in a row, and then it went right into editing my manuscript for my literary agent. More to come with that.
Summer is my season, so if there were time to buy, it would be now. I don’t overspend, but if a product helps me unwind, saves me time or money, or just makes me happy, I’m intrigued. So, through the years, I have bought and tested many products so you don’t have to. Here are my favorite Amazon summer must-haves for a classic outdoor space. Think As Good As It Gets on a budget.
First up are the SOLAR LANTERNS I bought for my front porch. These are still one of my best purchases. Before, I had to replace batteries constantly. It was annoying. Anything solar is a yes for me. It makes my life so much easier. I also love the EGG CHAIR. It fills the corner perfectly and is very comfortable. It’s definitely a splurge, but I am happy with it.
The INFLATABLE HOT TUB is by far the best thing we bought for our patio. You can read the pros and cons list here, but I use it every single day. Well worth the money.
I’ve had the worst luck with large planters. Some are too heavy, and some don’t withstand the elements, but these CEMENT PLANTERS are not only classic but also lightweight.
I’ve also bought many firepits over the years, and the cheap ones don’t give off enough heat. This white FIREPIT is fairly priced, pretty, and very cozy. It’s also pretty and has held up well, making it a happy purchase.
This TREE STUMP SIDE TABLE is so versatile for any season and style. Another happy purchase and a great conversation piece
You can’t beat these WHITE FRINGE UMBRELLAS. They are oversized, which is great when it gets hot back here, but they also clean up nicely with bleach. They’re fairly priced and functional. Oh, and pretty.
The fire pit FIBERGLASS STONES were a splurge, but they elevate it. Think of a chic boutique hotel along the coast.

These outdoor SOLAR STRING LIGHTS are another slam dunk. We have so many plugs going all at once that it’s nice to have something run on solar energy. I just bought the STRIPE SLING BACK CHAIRS. I haven’t styled them yet, but I love them, and they’re very fairly priced.
