Friday Favorites Books to Summer Style to Beauty
I am vibing with the pre-summer energy right now, so I thought it would be fun to do a Friday Favorites post. Everywhere I look, I’m blasted and bombarded in the best possible with inspiration. From books to music to summer-style to beauty to smells. It’s all around me, and I’m frightened for my bank account.
Let’s start with books. Since January, I have read/listened to 46 books. They include small-town romances with a wee bit of spice, romantic suspense, and mafia romances with more heat. Yes, I said it, and I’m not ashamed. You can find my reading list HERE.
Jack is graduating 8th grade, and I recently bought this navy stripe wrap dress from Boden. It’s a classic piece you’ll use for years to come. It’s elegant, romantic, and so flattering. I love a good gold pair of sandals and, of course, green earrings because they pair well with navy.

These two bathing suits are in my cart as we speak. I love a good ruffle, touching, and a two-piece (on the right).

Summers on Long Island can be super casual or have a more weekend vibe, say, for a vineyard trip. I haven’t yet ordered these, but they’re on my list. I have to remind myself that slow and steady wins the race.
Onto beauty, these below are my must-haves. The lip gloss is above any other gloss I’ve used; they also sell them at Bath & Body Works. The Bright Maker is great alone or with a foundation. It gives a youthful glow without a ton of makeup. And yes, GoPure works. I’m sure you’ve seen it everywhere.

These two outdoor items are in my Outdoor Favorites, and I can’t wait to set them up.

A few weeks ago, I did a very honest and raw interview with my friend Danielle from Finding Silver Pennies. She asked about my dad, what inspires me, and what my twenty-plus-year creative journey has looked like. It’s probably the most honest I’ve ever been. Definitely check out the CREATIVITY OVER COFFEE interview. We’ve been friends for the last 13 years, and she is uber-creative. Danielle has a line of watercolor products and lives in the most idyllic place. And look at her house, adorable!
Design consultations are in FULL swing. Be sure to set up your appointment so you don’t end up on the waitlist. Think of me as your design bestie, walking you through the toughest design decisions.
Have a happy weekend, friend!
Wow! Jen, thank you so much for including me in your Friday Favorites! Such fun ideas here. I really loved having you over on the blog for Creativity Over Coffee. Hope you have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend. xx
