Hi friends! Today is the day, I am finally sharing the full reveal of my den with white walls!! The before and afters will blow you away, it really is amazing what paint can do. If you remember I was back and forth between another dark hue or going light in this room. After much debate and many paint samples later I decided white was best. I wanted the transition between the picture molding and the wall to be seamless. The color I selected was Pure White by Sherwin-Williams and I couldn’t be happier!!! It feels fresh and bright in here, it was just the change I was looking for.

I decided to go with a crisp white to highlight the warm woods, organic textures and bold hues in the art and a few accessories. The goal for this room was to create a modern-rustic vibe that felt cool & casual, oh and comfortable too. As most of you know I have been busy working on my boys rooms. It seems like these makeovers have taken me months, I have waited so long to do these rooms that I want to do it right. I don’t like to rush design, that is when I make mistakes. Plus, it is way more fun to be deliberate about the things you plan, choose and eventually select. Since I was/am going for a modern coastal look in Jack’s room I loved the abstract nature of these watercolor prints.
