My New Portable Hot Tub by Mspa
Let me first say that I loved my inflatable hot tub, but I had no idea what I was missing until we upgraded. Meet our new portable hot tub, the Oslo by Mspa. This product looks and feels like the real deal but with a light commitment. You can break this down for the season, and if you move, you can take it with you.
I love so many things about this new hot tub. The first is that it’s very easy to assemble. We followed a video online, and setting up was a breeze. After we unboxed the pieces, we blew up the cover. Doing this before attaching the pump to the hot tub is best.
Then, we leveled the pea gravel patio and started building out the sides. We checked all the way through to ensure it was level. We attached the corner pieces and snapped the PVC strength bladder to the top.
Once the inside was attached securely, we installed the filter and filled the tub. It took about 24 hours to heat to 104 degrees Fahrenheit.
A few other things about this hot tub set it apart. It has four sets of hydro jets, which have excellent pressure. If you have back pain, this is therapeutic. It also has backup bubbling holes, which adds to the massage.
The touch screen makes the functions easy to use and aesthetically pleasing. The sleek wood panels give the appearance of being high-end. So, in case you are wondering, all you have to do is plug this bad boy in.
Sidenote story: this cute feline named Tommy arrived in my neighborhood about a year after my dad passed away. My dad’s name was Tom, but his friends called him Tommy. The cat visits us every day, and I have to say, he is the friendliest cat I’ve ever met, just like my dad.
Another feature we love is the LED lights that can be modified with a remote.
It’s also incredibly comfortable—I would rate that a 10+. There are built-in cushion seats and plush headrests. This also has a top-rated smart filtration system with UVC sanitizer and ozone targeting more resistant bacteria that chemicals can’t eradicate.

Since Christmas is around the corner I decided to decorate the backyard with subtle holiday touches. You can shop my HOLIDAY SHOP HERE. This year’s theme is Coastal Niece Christmas to go along with the FMC of my debut novel HOUSE IN BLOOM, coming out fall 2025.
It’s been so nice to use as the evenings get cooler. The steam rises from the top, and with the string lights on, it feels magical.
I still love my workbench turned potting bench in Boothbay Gray. You can see it stores the chemicals underneath. When we bring drinks out, they go on top.
You can see my full Cailfornia Inspired Pea Gravel Patio, along with the DIY for the pea gravel install.
This is the mood board I created for the backyard before the hot tub arrived. You can find most of these items HERE.
