Natural and Romantic Christmas Tree Ideas
As I write this, I can hear my mother’s voice in my head. “What do you mean you didn’t use the kid’s ornaments on the tree?” I shrink in my chair, knowing that was the best part of the holidays as a kid. There is a pang of guilt; then I remember I have a “kids” tree set up in the media room with all their childhood moments. It’s always a toss-up every year whether to showcase our family tree or share some different tree-decorating ideas. Since I’ve shared our family tree many times, I figured change is good.
This year I opted for a Natural Romance vibe for my den tree’s theme/ concept. I used a small gold garland from Target, then added faux lambs ear, dried baby’s breath and hydrangea, ribbon, and copper nutcrackers. I am so happy with how it turned out and to be a part of today’s blog-sharing series, Seasons of Home. A big thank you to Ella Claire for hosting this year’s Christmas Tree extravaganza.
