Casual + Cozy Fall Front Porch

It’s official, happy fall everyone!! This time of year is my favorite, after a long & busy summer I welcome the slower, crisper days this season has to offer. There is just something special about walking the beach on these cooler afternoons, with a coffee in hand, cozy as can be in a big, comfy sweater. With of course, my favorite people. Watching them play from afar as I scour the beach for washed up treasures. When I think of fall I think cozy and casual. That goes for my personal look and well as my home.

In case you are new to this blog, this is my wrap around farmhouse front porch, it really gives us a whole other room. We use this space year round. In the summer and on fall weekends I have my coffee out here in the crisp morning air. It’s such an incredible time to take it all in and be fully immersed my gratitude routine.

I used warm natural tones with black and white & of course a little touch of indigo. Texture is the name of the game this time of year and when it’s chilly we pull out ALL the blankets, it’s really cozy:).

I typically go light on the traditional fall accessories and opt for adding plants and succulents. Color and texture is how I like to showcase fall. Don’t be afraid to think outside the box when decorating this time of year.

We have sweeping views of the bay, which is just beautiful to wake up to everyday. Be sure to check out the last pictures to see it at night.

It’s still so warm so I’ll leave my plants out for another few weeks. I love the coziness it brings to the space.
