DIY Paper Mache Speckled Robin’s Eggs

Tomorrow is the 1st day of spring.
Yippee, yay!
Although it doesn’t feel like it here in the NE,

Are you?
Last week I featured my Rustic Spring Sign

The best part of using a neutral color palette when decorating is the flexibility when the seasons change.

One of the MANY things I adore about spring, are the colors.
So bright, cheerful & happy and who doesn’t need that after a LONG winter:).
Robin’s Egg Blue happens to be one of my all time favorites.

 Two coats will do.
To add the speckles, water down your second color, mine is a dark tan, any contrasting color that you have will look great.
With your fingers flick the wet bristles onto your eggs.
It doesn’t have to be perfect & if you mess up, just wipe off.
Let dry completely & flip over and speckle other side.

I also wanted to give a HUGE thank you to
Jen from The Chronicles of Home for sharing her stunning home with us on Friday!
Happy Spring friends,
