Thrifty & Simple Fall Vignette

 Hello Friends!

How have you been?

Are you getting into the spirit of fall yet?

 I am:).

Just the other day I took a beautiful drive to the country with my boys.

We stopped at our favorite Pumpkin Farm, we got lots of fresh vegetables & a few blue pumpkins.

It was sunny, quiet and peaceful.

It is a slower pace on the North Fork of Long Island & feel myself when I am there.

It is pure, natural &  simple.

So keeping that in mind I added a few simple fall touches around our house.

I didn’t spend a lot on this Fall Vignette.

I made the art from a dropcloth & feathers we found at the beach this summer and used fresh clippings from

pretty shrubs I found at my in-laws.

I also made DIY Dropcloth Driftwood Pumpkins for less than 30 cents each!

I added more feathers we found  with some worn books for texture.

The inserts house firewood, which we will be needing soon:).

And last but not least my Deer Silhouette Chalkboard for $10.

It is hard to believe but the holidays are right around the corner.

The holidays for me are a reminder to embrace family, find joy in the simple things and amongst the craziness to slow down

& be present.

I pour my heart into the holidays-just like my mom did.

I want to create meaning & memories that will be cherished for years to come.

Decorating for me is setting the stage for the BIGGER things to happen.

In this class I share REAL connections of life, love & family and how I have chosen to keep my mother’s memory alive through my children.

You will laugh, you may cry & you will be inspired!

We also share some pretty cool projects, gift ideas & recipes-30 to be exact:)!

Class begins Oct. 15th,

I would LOVE to see you there:).
