Cozy Coastal Inspired Fall Porch-Part 1

It’s that time again, time to reveal my farmhouse front porch all decked out for fall! Welcome friends to my fall porch part 1 inspired by cozy details, touches of autumn and coastal hues. This is always my favorite room to decorate and I feel lucky, especially now to have this covered outdoor space to share time with the ones I love most. I am sharing this tour with a fabulous group of bloggers so be sure to scroll to the bottom to continue the tour. A big thanks to Rachel from Shades of Blue for hosting today’s festive event.

Keeping with what I already had I just moved things from other rooms. The wicker barrel chair above was my dad’s so that wasn’t going anywhere. I threw a faux fur rug on it and just like that it went from summer to fall.

I like to mix in my summer plants with a few reminders of fall like cabbage plants, ferns and tall grasses.

I have quite a few people ask if I leave the area set up all the time and for the most part it’s a yes. Unless it’s pouring rain like earlier today.

Don’t be afraid to mingle your plants. They don’t all have to be considered “fall” plants.

Candles add so much to an outdoor space. Funny story, Denny was out here with me when I was taking photographs and he kept sniffing the air, wondering where that pleasant aroma was coming from. It was adorable!

Quick tip, best place to buy candles hands down, Home Goods!

There is one new addition, the light! Because we live by the bay the salt water destroys everything! Hopefully this one will last a little longer this time around.

The mini white pumpkins I bought at the local grocery store for a fraction of the cost at a nursery or pumpkin patch. I scored 7 for $3.59!

You can take my neutral tour from last year and the year prior with indigo and orange if you are looking for more seasonal outdoor inspiration.
