Sophisticated Scandinavian Living Room:Get the Look

Hi there friends! One of my goals for the next year is to give you more diversification when it comes to design. To give you more ideas outside my own 4 walls. The easiest way to do that is to create looks with mood boards and direct links to sources. Mood boards can be incredibly helpful for focusing in on a look;  the furnishings, fabrics, woods, hues, balance of textures, art, etc…It also keeps you on track because you have a visual. Honestly, I wish I did this for every room in my house when we moved in, it would have saved me a ton of time & money! It is also a good tool to keep your house feeling cohesive.

What inspired this Sophisticated Scandinavian look is 2 fold, 1. I think it’s incredibly easy to live with in general, no matter what phase you are in your life 2. I am currently tweaking my own living room and if I was starting from scratch I would do something like this…

Right now I am loving velvet sofas, leather, raw wood tones and natural elements. The sources range from moderate to low in price in order to stretch the budget. If I had to choose a color for the walls I would go with a shade of white.

One last thing, I am going to be starting e-consults!!! I have been contemplating them for a while and going to take the plunge. I just finished my first one with a wonderful gal who is redoing her basement. It went really well and I LOVED the process. So…keep an eye out for my big announcement, especially if it is something you might be interested in.

Have a happy day!
