Cozy Holiday Dining Room + Home Goods Giveaway

simple-cozy-holiday-dining-room

Hi friends! I am back with another farmhouse holiday reveal!! I know, it’s a little early but we wanted you to have a variety of holiday inspiration for when you are ready to start your own decorating. Today is the dining room, as always I have teamed up with Kristen + Courtney along with 11 amazing bloggers for this post, so be sure to follow all the links below. I am beyond excited to have partnered with Home Goods to bring you a simple and cozy space perfect for holiday entertaining.

My goal with this space was to bring in lots of texture and make it super cozy. I also wanted to keep it simple, I used what I had and integrated a few new items that felt rustic, wintery, warm and peaceful.

My favorite piece is the plaid wool throw from Home Goods. It was love at first sight. It gives a softness to the table and has a Christmas vibe. The color palette came from this bit of inspiration. From here I wanted to repeat warm wood tones, bring in accessories that had a natural feel and use lots of neutrals. These faux birch candles were a great find and give beautiful height to the tablescape.

Decorating the open shelving was fun. I balanced the space by repeating creams, marble, glass, rustic woods, metals and adding greenery. This cake stand is one of my favorite pieces, it has a marble base that is just so pretty.

The pine cones are a found detail that gives an unexpected touch to the table and also brings in more texture.

These hand painted plates are perfection with my usual white dishware. Don’t be afraid to mix and match, its adds a stylish edge to the traditional holiday table setting.

The cozy mohair throw and shearling rugs give the space an inviting layer.
