Spring Eat-In Nook & Kitchen Stripes

 Hi Friends!

A BIG happy Tuesday to you!

It is actually going to hit 50 something today in NY, I am so excited.

Spring is coming, yay!

There is so much going on this week,

tomorrow is the Better Homes & Gardens voting for my Barnwood Coffee Table,

I REALLY hope I can count on your vote{s}!

{I will have a FULL post tomorrow with the link}

You can read more about it HERE.

AND my baby boy turns 4!!!!

Hard to believe, not sure where the time has gone,

it is definitely bittersweet.

It has been such a blessing to be home with him, watching him grow, learn & discover new things.

Each day is a little adventure that gets woven in my heart.

I don’t ever want to forget.

Do you ever feel that way?

If I ever seem quiet on my blog or social media it is because I am trying to soak up this time:).

I am grateful beyond words!!!

Nothing says spring like bright happy colors!

Am I right?

Flowers & fruit have a way of brightening up any neutral space.

I am also sharing the simple & easy tutorial for my kitchen wall stripes.

Stiped Wall in Kitchen {Cream & Beige} City Farmhouse

These stripes got a makeover in December & with the craziness

of the holidays I didn’t have a chance to blog about them.

My base coat was Benjamin Moore Seashell.

After the wall was dry I measured with a tape measure & level,

then using Painters Tape{ with seal lock} I taped off every 9″.

I used ASCP in Country Gray for my contrast stripe.

Soft Neutral Color Palette Dining Room & Eat In Nook City Farmhouse

This table I bought for a steal years ago at an antique yard.

I thought it would be perfect for our little eat-in nook in our kitchen.

I also used ASCP in Country Gray on this as well.

This is the place where  we create, paint, color and draw.

A time to put away the electronics and let our minds run free.

You can see paint marks & lots of imperfections but I love that.

To me is says it is used, loved & appreciated:).

It overlooks our farmhouse front porch & the bay.

This room often doubles as my office and it is where most of my blog writing takes place:).

  7. Hi, thank you for sharing your lovely home and decor. It’s beautiful and I would love to know what paint colors you used for your dining room and the stripes in your “Eat-in Nook”. Is the dining oom color a “greige” or more in the gray family? Thank you for any helpful information because I’ve been trying to pick out the right beige/greige or gray color for two months now…
