It is amazing what paint can do.
  I chose to go dark in this space because of the amount of natural light, windows and light cabinetry.
I LOVE IT!!!
It gives such a warmth to the space.

Hi there friends! I am back to share my new DIY modern rustic wood beams that we just added to the kitchen! As I was saying in yesterday’s post we are tackling smaller projects in our kitchen to make the space feel more like us and our style. We will hold off on any larger projects until we are ready for the commitment of a renovation, which is not now. Often all a space needs are touches that say you to make it feel fresh again.

  7. I just found your blog and adore your style. I have a question if you have any time to answer. We are getting new appliances…how do you get into your freezer w/o it hitting the wall? That is our current dilemma. I do not want to upgrade with the regular top freezer, would like a side by side, but not sure how to pull it off. Any ideas?
