Hi friends! Today is the day we all share our Fall Front Porches, yay! If you have been following the Farmhouse Holiday Series then you know how incredible these ladies are in this group. Kristen has put the entire series together so seamlessly and I am beyond grateful to be included amongst such talent and heart.

I decided to keep things somewhat simple this year on my farmhouse front porch. I feel I can breathe a little better when I don’t over clutter.  I used all of my beautiful ferns, gardenia & aloe plants and added mums for a touch of color. I also went out to my favorite place on the North Fork for pumpkins and layered in different sizes and hues.

I changed up a few pillows and throws for a cozy feel as we do love to sit out here this time of year quite often. The kilim inspired pillow is from Etsy and the indigo pom-pom is from Home Goods. I used a wool curtain panel from West Elm outlet as the cushion cover. It was on clearance for $8 and the texture is yummy!

I also should apologize for the foggy windows. We have had lots of rain and being so close to the water on a humid day this is what you get unfortunately.

We have a covered porch that is 9 feet in width & wraps around the entire side of the house. It is like having another room, so I decorate it as such and bring a lot of indoor accessories outside. These pine cones John brought home from Lake Tahoe a few years back and I adore using them in my fall & holiday spaces. You will see these again soon, I am sure, lol.

This rug by Dash & Albert sets a neutral tone and the soft pattern goes with everything. You can see how a rug can make a huge difference and give a completely different look HERE.

The door color is Sherwin-Williams Anchors Aweigh and I do LOVE it so. The old door color was nice but this really pops.

I have had so many readers ask about my siding. It’s actually vinyl shake if you can believe it. We live right across from the bay on a peninsula and we get battered with wind and salt water so the low maintenance aspect has been a life saver.

  1. Love the cozy but not over-done touches you added! The door color makes such a difference, even though I did love it before! Such an effortless and chic style you have Jen!
