Haven Mentor-Lets Meet In Person

maven mentor tag

I have some fun news to share! I will be heading back to Haven this year as a mentor!!! Last year I had the honor of being a part of this incredible event in which I spoke about design & decorating with THIS amazing blogger and friend. To say it was fun, exciting & inspiring doesn’t do it justice. It was so much more than just a conference for me, so to be asked again to be a part of it on this level is both humbling and super exciting. You can click HERE to find out more about this conference.

Like I mentioned above I will be a mentor, along with all of these fabulous bloggers below. Starting today we are all sharing a little about ourselves, along with our own personal journeys at the Haven Conference. If you are coming from Brittany’s blog, welcome!

If you aren’t familiar with Haven, it is a DIY & Design Blogging Conference that is held each August in Atlanta. If you are a blogger & this is your genre, then this is the place to be! I went last year excited to finally meet so many people I adored and they were all more lovely in person. I had the best time and learned a ton!

Haven Conference in Altanta

Coming home last year from this conference I was on a high. The classes were all so helpful, from the styling class with Lucy-Craftberry Bush to the video class from Jennifer Stagg from With Heart, the sponsors were great and Jon Acuff the opening speaker was hilarious perfection. And I learned so much by just chatting with other bloggers outside of sessions, from a business standpoint it is money well spent, I learned a ton about branding & monetizing!

I have been blogging for 4 years and it has been the best experience both professionally and spiritually. I have discovered so much by just diving in and figuring it as I go along but it was a huge leap of faith for me to begin on this unpaved path. When I think about where I began to where I am now I am in disbelief, still. The most incredible opportunities, with the most extraordinary people have come my way and I can only say that it is a little luck, a lot of hard work, good timing, sprinkled with who you know, who you are and what you can do. The best part of this journey by far has been the connections I have made with blogging friends, other creative individuals and all of you. And of course getting to do what I love every day and dreaming up fun things to share!  Here are a few of my favorite projects I have done over the last few years…..

City Farmhouse-Dining Room DIY Abstract Art

City Farmhouse-DIY Herringbone Wall & Cost Plus Driftwood Chandelier

City Farmhouse Thrifty Bar Cart Makeover 2

Are you going this year? I would love to catch up and meet in person!!

Have a fantastic day, happy spring!
