Easy Easter DIY Place Cards

Easy Easter DIY Place Cards Using Paper & Pom Poms

Happy March City Farmhouse Readers!

Emily, from The Wicker House here again.

With Easter coming up in just a few short weeks, I wanted to share a cute craft with you that also makes for a fun family craft.

I made these sweet bunny place cards for our Easter table, and I wanted to share with you how I made them and I’m including a free cutout printable so that you can make some too.

Supplies you will need:

– Printer

-Scissors

– 2 Pieces of coordinating scrapbook paper.

– 4 X 6 picture frames

– Spray paint (optional)

– Alphabet stickers or glitter

– Cotton Balls or pom poms

To make these Easter table place cards, the first thing you will need is to print out this bunny silhouette. Right click on bunny image and ‘save image as’ to your computer. Set paper size to 4 X 6 and print out.Easy Easter DIY Place Cards Using Paper & Pom Poms

Once it is printed, cut the bunny silhouette out and trace onto a piece of decorative scrapbook paper. Now cut out the bunny you just traced. You can really have fun with different paper patterns here. I thought this vintage floral print had a nice Easter look to it.

Next, cut the second piece of coordinating scrapbook paper into 4 X 6 sections. I used the glass of the picture frame as a guide, traced it onto the paper and cut out.

Glue the bunny onto the center of the 4 X 6 card. Add the names of your guest to the bunny using alphabet stickers. If you don’t have alphabet stickers you could always hand write the names, outline in glue and sprinkle on some glitter.

Place the cards into 4 X 6 picture frames (My picture frames were wood, so I first spray painted them white).

The last step is to glue on the bunny tails. I used pom poms but you could also use cotton balls.

Place the framed name cards at each place setting so your guest know where to sit.

Something else that is fun about these name cards is that they can also be hung on an Easter basket.

These table place cards really have me looking forward to Easter and spending time gathered together around the table with family.

Thanks City Farmhouse for having me over today.  It’s been a treat.
