All White Master Bathroom Progress

 Hi Friends!

Last week was our 3 year anniversary of buying our home.

As often as I can I try to remember how it felt when we walked in it for the 1st time.

Crazy as it sounds, I felt connected, instantly.

My husband fell in love with “his” things & I fell in love with mine.

But the one thing we both equally fell for was the master bathroom.

It had{has} these little windows along the top that let in the perfect amount of sun light,

it had {has} a huge soaking tub and shower with beautiful blue/green glass tiles.

And lots of  subway tile!!!

It just felt like us.

It needed some TLC, paint, trim, a good cleaning, lots of little things

& finally I am getting around to finishing it up.

Thought I would share my master bathroom progress and sneak peak…

I recently painted all the trim, re-caulked, re-grouted and scrubbed the grout, again.

White is beautiful but needs to be cleaned well, a lot:).

  1. Last week was our homes 1 year anniversary. I like to reflect on that exciting time as well. So Happy Anniversary to your beautiful home! Loving everything in your master bath, I think that will be the next room in our home that I tackle, so I’m excited to see what else you do,

    1. Happy 1 year Emily! I Love your home! It is good to reflect that way you never take it for granted:). It all takes so much time, doesn’t it? Cant wait to see! Have a great day Friend!

  2. I adore your bathroom! I can’t wait to see the rest of the elements you mentioned. We have color in our bathroom…in a 1970s avacado green bathtub with green tile surround. So in my opinion let the art and towels add the color and keep the long term fixtures nice and neutral to stand the test of time.

  3. Jen this room makes me feel so calm..and calm makes me so happy! I love all of the beautiful details and natural elements in this room! Pinning to the BHG blogger projects we love board…because I love this! 🙂
