This season is all about bringing the cozy back, on a budget of course. I’m joining a few Seasons of Home friends as we take you on a fall tour highlighted by something we did…
Hi there friends! Happy summer! I have been slowing making updates to my family room over the last month in preparation for the arrival of my new sectional. It actually came yesterday, eek! Oh my gosh, it’s GORGEOUS!!! I still have a few more things to do, so bare with me. Some of the updates include art, pillows, a refresh on a piece of furniture, some new accessories and more. In searching for new art for above my fireplace I found a clever way to create affordable and original art without the high dollar price tag using my favorite Etsy shops.
Hi friends, I have some exciting news to share! City Farmhouse is now on YouTube! I have been wanting to start a design series on my YouTube channel for a while but if I am being honest, fear held me back. Not of being in front of the camera but of being able to create the videos myself. I am a creative, not so much a tech person and so the mere thought of the process, start to finish hurt my brain, but to my surprise creating videos is a lot of fun!
Happy May! Emily here from The Wicker House and I have a cute teacher gift to share with you today. My boys get out of school at the end of the month and I’m blown away because that is just weeks away! Where does the time go? My boys are pretty excited to get started on their summer vacation but they are also a bit sad to have to say goodbye to their teachers. They both have such wonderful teachers and so I have come up with a sweet little gift that they can give to them on the last day of school.
When I was asked to be a part of Beth’s Thrifty for Under $50 blog hop I was thrilled! Who doesn’t love a good challenge and an excuse to save some money? I know I do! Since I was in the middle of Jack’s Modern Coastal Room Makeover I thought why not go bold and paint his dresser I bought for a steal, navy blue.
