Join me in Bryant Park for the Reading Room Summer Series! I still can’t believe that I was asked because a small part of me will always be the six-year-old girl who struggled to read and write. The one who made herself small to avoid being seen.

The New York Public Library and my publisher, Penguin Random House, have asked me to join the Bryant Park Reading Room. Yup, you heard that right! It’s a testament to how your circumstances can change when you don’t give up on yourself. I honestly wish my parents were still here for this one. I know they’d be ridiculously proud!
I’ll be one of four authors for their summer outdoor author series this Wednesday, July 22, at 12:30 pm. And to say I’m humbled and honored to be with these authors is an understatement. I’ll be with Cara Bastone (Promise Me Sunshine), Amy Ewing (The Irish Goodbye), and Edward Schmit, another debut author who is killing it with Open Era.
Calling all Long Island fans of swoony summer romances, Nancy Meyers, Reality TV, and Fixer-Upper! If you’re in the area on Tuesday night, July 21st, take the beautiful drive to the North Fork and immerse yourself in this book. You can find more information below & HERE.

I hope to see you there!
