Hi friends, happy Monday! I hope you all had the best Thanksgiving weekend! We spent most of the long, holiday weekend eating, playing outside, enjoying time with family, decorating & watching holiday movies, it was so nice! I love this time of year and all the planning that goes into it, speaking of which, I have teamed up with Tiny Prints and 6 talented bloggers to share some clever & creative wrapping ideas that will be sure to inspire you as the countdown to Christmas begins.
Each year at the start of the holiday season, usually at the beginning of November, I begin to plan for Christmas. I know that seems early but I never want to feel rushed. This year, my holiday house tour will be a little different and I will share more with you tomorrow in the Holiday Housewalk but for today how about a sneak peek?
My holiday color is Navy this year, I found some vintage wool picnic blankets that began the concept of the playful meets cabin idea. I mixed a bunch of different paper patterns of different scales and introduced a neutral with ordinary craft paper and then had fun layering some simple details.
Using a mix of “ribbons” with varying textures makes it feel rustic, I use twine, jute, leather and at times a matte ribbon. I found these gift tag stickers at Tiny Prints, it was great because I was able to customize them. Some of them I used as stickers and some I stuck to card stock and made them into tags. Then I found glittery washi tape and embellished from there
This herringbone throw is from Tiny Prints as well and it is my favorite of all time. The color feels like a worn denim and the feel is incredible!
Guess what else?! We are hosting a GIVEWAY for $200 worth of Tiny Prints products!! You can use it towards your holiday cards, wrapping essentials or customized gifts for your family & friends. This giveaway will run until Sunday, December 6th, see details below…
