Master Bedroom Design Plan {Grays, Neutrals & Persimmon}
Happy Tuesday!
Hopefully you are staying warm!
Last week I shared a sneak peak at my master bathroom,
slowly I am making progress with some spaces in my home
that have been long overdue for some big time attention:).
I am a big believer in taking your time.
Our decorating budget was at times, non existent so it forced me to be resourceful
{which was/is a huge blessing}
& really patient.
FINALLY we are onto our master bedroom & I am SO excited.
It will be in the same thrifty fashion as I have decorated most of my home.
I have been doing a little design research to bring my rustic & modern style together in this space,
I thought I would share…..
My plan is to reuse what I have.
I will recover my existing upholstered headboard, paint dressers,
alter side tables that I bought many years ago.
A herringbone paint feature will go above my bed {using left over house paint}
Drapes{for 5 windows} will be hung for under $20, yup, you heard right:).
A large typography sign will be made & THIS driftwood mirror will hang over my bed.
Some splurges will be a desk, throws, pillows, duvet & linen accents.
Our bedroom will double as an office on the days my husband works from home.
I have come to realize that function has to be a top priority in this space
& he is excited to be moving out of our dining room:).
Me TOO!!!
West Elm Honeycomb Persimmon Pillow
Originally my plan was to add touches of turquoise
but as time went on I just fell for persimmon- it makes me happy.
Pillow are a great way to add style to your space.
Barnwood Mirror
West Elm Charcoal Velvet Studded PIllow
