Anthropologie Inspired XOXO PIllow
Happy Valentines Day!!!
I thought I would share a little DIY project that is perfect for today.
If you read my blog then you know by now how much I LOVE neutrals:).
So it is no surprise that I made this fun Anthropologie Inspired XOXO Pillow in a washed linen
& charcoal felt.
By making your holiday inspired décor neutral you can use it through the year.
This is my own interpretation of these fabulous pillows.
So I began with 2 pieces of fabric.
One piece for the top of my lumbar pillow and 1{extra long} piece for the envelope back.
Click HERE for my envelope pillow TUTORIAL.
I chose a washed linen but you can use any fabric, just be sure it isn’t lighter in weight than the linen
{it may shift on you while you sew}.
Next I took my gray felt, I used 2 pieces from the craft store.
And printed {& cut} 1-X and 1-O on heavy cardstock. I found an apricot colored crayon in the junk draw & traced each letter twice:).
Then cut.
I then pinned & sewed just inside the outer edge using a longer stitch (4) to give more character.
Be sure to iron both front & back.
Pin front facing sides together & sew away.
I created a little “LOVE” nook under my stairs where I could
smother my boys with hugs & kisses before they head out each day:).

Hi Jen,
Thank you so much! You should look for a used sewing machine, I bet you could learn quick, its not hard:). Have a nice weekend!
I am so in love with these pillows! Yours is gorgeous!
Thank you so much Denise!
I like yours better than the ones from Anthropologie! They are cuter and I like the long skinny ones. Good work. Thanks for all you do and share. :>)
Love this, Jen!

Jamie
