Cost Plus World Market First NY Store + Grand Opening

Hi friends! I hope your summer days have been filled with fun and sheer delight! I thought I would pop in and share some exciting news, one of my favorite home décor stores of all times, is opening it’s FIRST store in NY!!! Cost Plus World Market will be hosting their Grand Opening at their Chelsea, New York location, at 18th & 6th on Thursday, August 20th and will run through Sunday, August 23!

There are so many fun events surrounding this grand opening such as, a FREE CUSTOM CANVAS TOTE BAG for the first 100 customers in the store each day & 10 lucky customers will find a $50 World Market gift card in their tote each day!  When I was living in Colorado in my late 20’s, Cost Plus World Market was my go to store. Everything in the store fit my style perfectly, from the accessories & furnishings to the kitchenware. I would go in on my lunch break and then go back again after work, to get ideas and plot my next purchase. Since leaving CO 9 years ago, I have gone through withdrawals not having store in NY, so you can imagine how excited I am about this!!! I still have and use so many items from my Colorado days, my dining room bench, which I get so many questions about is from them and after almost 15 years, it is still going strong:).  So many of their items are timeless and not to mention affordable and that is why I have loved this store for ages.
