Creatively Christmas Book

Jennifer Rizzo Creativrly Made Christmas

Happy Friday friends!

I know we haven’t even gotten past Halloween but I wanted to talk a little Christmas today.

Last year I had the honor of teaching an online class –Home for the Holidays with the most amazing & creative group of bloggers,

one of which was Jennifer Rizzo.

If you don’t know Jennifer, she is the queen of all things Christmas in the blogging world.

So you can imagine my excitement when she asked me a few years ago to be a part of her

HUGELY phenomenal Holiday Housewalk.

She is one of the most creative people I know & I was reminded of that when I recently read her book,

Creatively Christmas Inspired Yuletide Décor.

This book is overflowing with creative holidays ideas,

I was blown away!!

Her ideas are so original, that was what really struck me.

But I am not surprised that is Jennifer’s style:).

  1. The photo with the lanterns and skis on the stairs is all Photoshopped. Unfortunate, as it’s a nice setup.

    1. Hi Kate,
I can see where you would say that, the lanterns look funny. But it’s actually not photo shopped, and in the book you can see the reflection in a mirror of the ski’s in another pictures. It’s just the way the lighting came out. Thank you for thinking I am that skilled in photoshop!

  2. Perhaps I’m design-dense, but I simply don’t see what would be so bad about Photo Shopping an image — unless you also object to women with make-up. In my book, a beautiful image is a beautiful image. Period. However you accomplish it!

Nice response, Jennifer, to what seems to me a snarky comment.

Congrats on the new site, btw. I just found your old one through Pinterest – so I’m glad I clicked around and found your “last” post to be able to jump over here.

    Onward and upward!

    1. Thanks Madelyn. The funny thing is, there is one photo in the book I did have to make some photo shop like changes to and that wasn’t it. Hubby and I both looked at it, and he said”It does look like it was pasted on!” I agreed, but it was just odd lighting. Thanks for finding me!
