Coastal Christmas Family Room + Front Door
I’m a little last in sharing my Coastal Christmas family room and front door. But better late than never, right?!. Plus, I have a very good excuse. I worked with Home Depot this year to create Coastal Christmas content for their channels. And I couldn’t share it with all of you until they shared it first.
The wreath was a basic pre-lit wreath to which I added seeded eucalyptus sprigs and oyster shells for some coastal interest. I love the rich chocolate bow; it’s a nice textural contrast with the white shells.
I also added those same oyster shells and camel velvet ribbon to my brown knit stockings from Target.
I infused an earthy coastal color palette into my existing decor. That would be any color I see if I step out my front door and walk down to the beach, like shades of blue, beige, wheat, brown, and gray-green.
The burlap tree skirt and knit blanket were a nice addition.
The art above the fireplace is a download from Etsy that I had printed at CanvasDiscount.com. You can use CITYFARMHOUSE25 for 25% off at checkout.

The shell candle is a DIY, and it was so easy. If I can do it, so can you! You can find the sources for the Shell Candle HERE.
Here’s another view. The garland has two layers that I hung with these magical hooks.
The Marble Candleholders are another easy DIY. You can find the reel HERE.
The harlequin rug is a show-stopper, and the large scale works well in this large area.
I made these ornaments from wallpaper samples and cork contact paper. stay tuned for the tutorial.
I love how it all came together and how calming the aesthetic is.
Have a happy day, friends!
Good Morning, I especially liked your use of ribbon and the colors! Beautiful.
