How To Plan The Perfect Fall Picnic + No Kid Hungry Cooler
Happy Monday friends!
I am so honored to be partnering with
No Kid Hungry to spread the word about childhood hunger in America
by sharing this fun Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Caring Cooler
& some creative ideas for planning the perfect fall picnic.
Here are some real statistics that will make you think & want to make a difference….
More than 16 million kids live in households that struggle to put food on the table.
{16 million children would fill 845 basketball arenas}
And nearly 22% of kids under the age of 18 live in poverty.
Nearly half of all people on food stamps are kids.
And we all know that hunger has a huge impact on how a child performs academically.
My boys will head off to school today having full bellies.
I can’t imagine what a struggle it would be for them if they were hungry,
still trying to learn and be their best self.
This cooler is the PERFECT size, even my husband was excited!
And what a AMAZING cause to support!
100% of proceeds benefit Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry Campaign.
It fits 4 bottles of Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi wine (wine not included with purchase).
Living 30 minutes from the country & all of our local vineyards, we have become really good at planning picnics.
So here is a fun checklist to spread the word & to plan the perfect fall picnic….
One person can make a difference.
You can donate HERE or purchase the cooler HERE {but hurry, its only available until Oct 10th}.
And PLEASE pin this, share this , tweets this in anyway,
spread the word!
Thank you for taking the time to help this cause.
Have a beautiful day,
What a fantastic cause. My two boys left for school with full bellies too. I can only imagine how hard it is to learn and thrive if you are hungry. I’ll be sure to share! Beautiful picnic images too.
Great cause! Childhood nutrition is so important! Cute cooler, too.
Amazing Jen, and so heartbreaking. I can’t even imagine all those hungry kids. So grateful for what we have!! Your picnic looked so cozy and inviting, I wanted to dive right in the pictures 🙂
FYI – When I tried the purchase cooler link, no coolers were available for purchase. Is there another source?
I love this and want to be having this picnic tonight! It looks so peaceful, yummy and FALL! I love it!
I wish I could help but at this time we’re fresh out of money. We get paid once a month and have to make it last 5 weeks most of time. The months we have 4 weeks between we try to catch up with what we couldn’t pay in the 5 week months.
I would truly donate if I could. When I was divorced with 3 kids it was very hard for me to keep them fed. I do know how hard it is to feed my kids and it’s horrifying. How do you tell your kids you don’t have money to buy food for them? Sure was easy for me to stay skinny in those days. I did all I could to make extra money to buy food. I will find some way to help this cause.
What a wonderful cause and beautiful setting. I think we’ve all gone through some sort of financial difficulties at one point of time, but to think that you can’t feed your child must be a horrifying thought. Thank you for bringing awareness to this very important need in our society. xo
