The Country Living Fair & A Beautiful Weekend
Happy Monday!
This weekend was SO much fun!
Saturday I drove up to Rhinebeck, NY for the Country Living Fair,
the drive was beautiful, the weather too, the vendors exceptional
&
it was a thrill to meet & chat with some new friends.
Here are some highlights….
(these photos where all taken with my I-phone,
it got crowded fast so it was just easiest)
Country Living did an amazing job setting the stage for this fun event!
And the day wouldn’t feel “country” without a large cow:).
I got to meet Sarah Gray Miller, editor- in-chief for Country Living Magazine!
What a thrill & she was so incredibly nice to top it off!
I also got to meet up with some talented & cool bloggers,
Jane from Atticmag
Kelly from Eclectically Vintage
Denise from The Painted Home
Ann Andrew from Water Wine Travel
So sorry for the blurry picture but I had to throw this in:).
I also had the pleasure of meeting Cari from HGTV’s Cash & Cari,
a few of us bloggers got to walk around with her, she gave us some great tips for shopping for vintage deals.
She was a sweetheart!

I got so many questions about my bag:).
It is the Mia Camera Bag from the super kind & talented Jeanne Oliver Designs.
Isn’t is beautiful????
It is so well made & has so many little compartments for your camera,
it was perfect for the day!
This was Cari’s booth,
she had a beautiful vintage baker’s rack,
which I have been wanting for a while.
I left for an hour to “think” and it was SOLD, uhhh.
I guess it wasn’t meant to be.
My goal was to find a unique piece of furniture,
then gift it to myself for my 4oth (in July.)
Good plan, right???
I did find an authentic large market basket & zinc pot,
I went home happy….
Loved this metal cabinet:).
So that was my Saturday
&
this was my Sunday….
My family & I drove out to the North Fork of Long Island to see my in laws.
We stopped by my favorite local shops,
Northfork Found & Co.
&
White Flower Farmhouse.
And look what I found!!!
A baker’s rack at White Flower Farmhouse!!!
I just love the patina, don’t you???
Still waiting to see if it for sale:).
Here some more beautiful images from Lori’s shop……
And look at these seats from Northfork Found & Co.
Cool right?
THIS place is my favorite place on the planet.
This is the rarely seen hubby, John.
We will celebrate 10 years on Saturday, wahoo!!!
Great guy he is, I still get butterflies:)
It was a beautiful day on the bay with my family.
I love days like this!!!!
It was a great weekend,
thanks for letting me share.

Love the pics. Maybe next year we’ll cross paths at the CL Fair. I’m definitely going back. I posted about my time there, too, but it was a little wetter 🙂 Here it is if you want to compare notes: http://thrifterindisguise.blogspot.com/2013/06/country-living-fair.html
