Simple Coastal Updates For Summer

For the summer season
I was inspired to change up my mantel a little by
 Emily at The Wicker House.
 You can checked out her beautiful blog & mantel here.
We live coastally
& through the year my home is influenced by
coastal living.

We are 50ft from the bay,
which is a blessing unless it is hurricane season:).
My husband & his entire family
sail and enjoy their various water activities.
And
we are a beach family,
we love to spend long summer days at the beach.
So I thought I would decorate my mantel
& front door to reflect that.

  2. So peaceful and calm, like looking at a sunset on the beach. I love the window frame and all the little details on the mantel. I hope you don’t mind but I would like to make a drift wood sailboat with my son like yours.

  14. Your mantel is gorgeous, love the colors you use. Even though I live in TN, grew up in CAl not far from the beach and love to decorate for summer with lots of beachy stuff!
