Hi there friends! Today is the day, I am finally sharing my new outdoor privacy screen!! It’s a nice blend of modern & rustic and it gives us a little more privacy from the road. We live on a corner lot across from the bay on a very small piece of property. So any additional coverage that makes it feel like a retreat away from the rest of the world is exactly what we need.
Hi there friends! I have a fantastic before & after to share with you today! Living close to the water my backyard furniture can get worn very quickly. This year I decided it was time to give my outdoor dining table a refresh. With the help of my friends at Sherwin-Williams I was able to find the perfect color & products for this makeover.
Happy Friday!!! As most of you know I am working on finishing up my backyard right now and it has me in the mood to entertain. You know when you get your space exactly how you want it and decide to throw a party to show it off?! Well if are feelin the hosting vibe right now like me then you will love these summer entertaining essentials. They are classic outdoor musts with a super pretty look. And who isn’t loving all the indigo, wicker and warm woods?
Hope you are having the best start to your spring! I can’t tell you how much I am enjoying the warmer days and being able to play outside later. Everything is beginning to bloom and that is inspiring me to start creating my outdoor spaces again. Each year I make a few modifications, I add some new things, do a few DIY’s and move pieces around to make it feel fresh and different than the years before. This year my first order of business is to change the seating on my front porch. It is an expansive space and I know it can handle a big piece so I decided it is time to add an outdoor sectional to the main area.
Hi friends! Today is the day we all get to share our Fall Front Porches, yay! If you have been following the Farmhouse Holiday Series then you know how incredible these ladies are in this group. Kristen has put the entire series together so seamlessly and I am beyond grateful to be included amongst such talent and heart.
There are so many things to love about fall, afternoons spent outdoors in the cool, crisp air, cozy sweaters, big warm blankets, picnics, pumpkin everything and of course coffee. Tis the season to drink up and enjoy the flavors of fall. I am delighted to be partnering with Starbucks® to bring you my Fall Capsule-all my favorite home décor essentials found at Target. I geared my must have list around easy entertaining, cozy styling ideas and that hot drink we all love this time of year, coffee.
Picnics aren’t just for the beach or park anymore, they are also a fun way to create a whole new space for outdoor entertaining in your very own backyard. I am so thrilled to be partnering with Wayfair to bring you this creative summer idea. Whether you have a small yard or a large one, this is a great way to break up conversation areas and add a stylish element to your party. I happen to have a small yard, so this idea of creating a whole other outdoor room for hosting has always intrigued me.
I am fascinated by where people live and what they do for fun, especially in the summer. So I thought I would share a little about our summers here on Long Island. If you are…

This week is Paint & Build, so I thought I would share a simple update I did with a clearance item found last year at Lowe’s with paint.
