The den dilemmas continue, up today are sconces. They are a timeless trend that are easy to update, so I have gathered up my favorite 13 to share with you. I am replacing the black ones that are on either side of the built-ins for a fresh pair.
The holiday break went by way too fast, didn’t it?! There was so much build up & prepping and then poof, it was over. With the work load of the blog, projects, house tours and activities for the boys before hand, I was REALLY READY for some down time. I was in super speedy mode for weeks before hand, I am sure you were as well. Phew, I panic just thinking about all of it. Being away I realized some things….

This week has flown by hasn’t it?! I can’t believe tomorrow is New Years Eve already! Do you have any special plans? Are you hosting? I am not this year but I always have my eye on a good cocktail. Truth be told I am not the mixologist in the family, that title would most likely go to my sister-in-law who inspires me to think outside the box when it comes to adult beverages. It is an art if you know what goes best with what and what flavors bring out others. And the beauty, if you can capture it just right, is positively yummy looking!

With Christmas only 18 days away I thought I would share my favorite online, cozy picks this holiday season. I don’t know about you but I am a big time procrastinator with most things including shopping. Truth be told I don’t like to shop. Crazy, I know but I much prefer to shop online. This is such a busy time of year, isn’t it?! It seems Christmas comes quicker and quicker each year and the push to decorate starts earlier and earlier. Right? In blogland we begin right at the start of November so you have plenty of ideas when you are ready yourself but the stores are catching on as well. It can be overwhelming and costly to buy new things each year, I know:). This year I decided to keep things somewhat simple and neutral, so that I could use some of my accessories thru the winter. My favorite accessory? You guessed it, PILLOWS! This year I layered my holiday home with tons of cozy textures, beautiful plaids + festive neutrals. Here are my 25 favorite cozy, chic pillows perfect for the holiday season + months after….
