For most of us who have blogs, our homes are our canvas. I am no different. My home has been my canvas for the last 7 years and has allowed me the ability to share…
Happy almost weekend friends! I am going to keep this short and sweet. It’s Friday so I am sharing my favorites, everything from bath suits, to books and podcasts. I have found so many cool…
I am going to honest, although I absolutely LOVE Instagram, it has gotten me a little discouraged lately. The ebb and flow of this richly loved platform can make one crazy. I can break it down, maybe you can relate. First off, sometimes I wonder if anyone is seeing my posts or if anyone cares. Secondly, it seems the posts that get the most engagement and connection are the personal posts which I am a private person. Lastly, I am not sure I can compete with what everyone else is sharing. This is what I have been telling myself for a few months now. Well….last week while running I was listening to THIS podcast and decided to do something about it. At the end of the day, it’s not about the numbers but connecting with all of you.
Hi friends! I have wanted to do a beauty post for a while now. Most of us are on same quest to feel our best and yes, look our best too. Whatever age you are,…

Hi there friends! We got back from our vacation to Florida last week and boy was it good! If you follow me on Instagram then you saw some of the highlights on my stories. We went to Madeira Beach & Treasure Island for 6 days. My goal was to relax, enjoy my family without my daily stresses, play at the beach, be fully present and read a book or 2. Long story short, I was able to do all of these things and more. I feel like a brand new person!
Hello Spring! I couldn’t be more excited to welcome you back into my life! It’s been a long, long winter! I look forward to this blissful season and spicing up my wardrobe with something besides a chunky knit sweater and jeans. Although I am not a big shopper, for some reason I actually enjoy it this time of year. Plus, we are going away in a few weeks to Florida so I am on the hunt for some new things to freshen up my personal style.
Hi there friends! It’s been a while since I opened up and shared some personal things about myself and since there are many new faces to my blog I thought this would be a great time to get reacquainted. I have written a few of these before so I will try not to be redundant. So…here are 1o things you never probably would have never guessed about me….
If you are like me, then you are curious about the “fixer upper” market. It seems to be the hot trend in real estate right now and every where you turn it seems like more people are jumping on board to see if they can cash in. Whether locally, within your own network of family & friends or on social media & television, it’s all the buzz and rightfully so. There can be a huge financial gain when entering into this rewarding game of real estate. But we all know how risky and time consuming it can also be, especially when doing all the work yourself. So the question is, is it right for us?
Hi there friends! Happy New Year! I have written this post in my head a dozen times and have even sat down to write it a few times but each time my mind took off…
Hi friends! This is my last post of the year! It sounds crazy to say that, how can it be, another year come & gone? It’s been an incredible year, not without it’s trials though but I am grateful none the less. One of the MANY things I am grateful for this holiday season is my continued friendship with Long Island photographer Michele Kats. She is a creative genius and such a sweet soul. Every year I am blessed that she takes our holiday photos, for without her I am afraid I would be in not one single family shot. I am the one usually behind the camera, so it gives me a break and allows me to be in the moment with my boys.
