French Linen "LOVE" Chalkboard Sign & V-Day Vignette

Hi everyone!
I hope it has been a good week for you so far!
We are on the mend here, thank goodness.
I am not sure if you have noticed but I
I like signs.
My favorite spot to hang them is over my barnboard mirror
in my family room.
With Valentine’s Day quickly approaching I knew
I was needing a “LOVE” sign.
I thought, why not a chalkboard,
that way I could easily change it:).
I decided to go with Anne Sloan’s Chalkpaint
in French Linen as the background
&
I followed this easy tutorial for the letters.
What do you think???
It was soooo easy!
I am in LOVE!
You can check out the before and afters
of this high five makeover here.
Here is a picture to refresh your memory,
I paid $10 :), amazing right?

I used chalk to create the letters.
In case you are wondering, the sectional is from here
&
I love that too:).

I hope you all have an incredible weekend,

I really need to change things up in here now that Christmas is over but I was happy that I was able to vacuum today as well as get a couple of loads of laundry done!! 🙂 yep a fever for 4 days plus sniffling, snuffling, and coughing make for unproductive days… but I have so many ideas now and i actually got more clutter sorted! yeah!! 🙂

  2. This room is amazing! I love it, so comforting and cozy but also crisp! I was wondering about your sofa, your WHITE sofa with boys, how has it been? I have the ektorp couch and two chairs and have been wanting to go white but I have to admit I am scared I have 3 boys!

  3. Jen your space looks so lovely, you have an amazing knack for decorating. I think I may be ready to slipcover my dark sofas in a lighter color. I am inspired 🙂

  4. I love it! Stunning! Your style is by far one of my favorites 🙂 I was wondering what material you used to line the back of the cabinet? Is that fabric, wallpaper….? I am looking for a similar print for my bathroom and am having trouble finding something exactly what I want and then saw this. Also, what is the darker color…it’s hard to tell in the picture.

    Thanks,
    xx ~Jennifer
